What We Build

Programs

Nine commitments, one aim: more safety, more opportunity, more young people arriving at a future they chose.

  • 01

    Violence Prevention

Block-level outreach, conflict interruption partnerships and safe-passage support so young people can move through their neighborhoods without fear.

  • 02

    Girls' Empowerment

Circles built for young women: self-worth, safety, boundaries, healing and leadership, led by women who have walked it.

  • 03

    Mentorship

Consistent, matched relationships with adults who show up weekly. Not a one-time visit, but a standing appointment.

  • 04

    Dance & Creative Arts

Studio time, choreography, showcases and performance. Movement as discipline, as joy, and as a way to say what words can't.

  • 05

    Youth Development

Workshops in financial literacy, college and career readiness, interview skills and civic voice.

  • 06

    Community Engagement

Peace walks, block celebrations, resource fairs and neighbor-to-neighbor organizing across Chicago.

  • 07

    Scholarships

Direct financial awards for tuition, training programs, dance intensives and the small costs that quietly end big dreams.

  • 08

    Fundraising & Partnerships

Galas, community drives and corporate partners that fund every seat, every scholarship and every studio hour.

  • 09

    Transitional Housing (Coming)

A future group-home and transitional living program for youth and young women who need a safe address while they build what's next.
